4ME4WE, LLC (“4ME4WE “, “us”, “our” or “we”) thanks you, our valued Member (“Member”, “you” or “your”), for your interest in our web-based services available at www.4me4we.com  (“Service”). We want to earn and maintain your trust with our privacy and data security protection.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated in and subject to the 4Me4We.com Terms and Conditions (“Site Terms”). Capitalized terms that are not defined in the Privacy Policy have the meaning given to them in the Site Terms.

This Privacy Policy describes our commitment to your privacy, the Information we gather from you and receive from third parties about you, how we use, share and protect your Information, how you can view, change or limit your Information, and how we may assist you with any questions or concerns. BY USING THE SERVICE, YOU CONSENT AND AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THE PRIVACY POLICY. PLEASE READ THIS PRIVACY POLICY FULLY AND CAREFULLY.

The Service necessarily entails the collection and sharing of some of your “personally identifiable” Information (“PII”) and other personal Information (collectively ” Information “) with Business Affiliates and Charity Affiliates (“Affiliates”), which is necessarily to accomplish the Member ‘s goal of charitable giving through purchases of goods and services. This Information is likely to include your name, physical and e-mail addresses, purchase choices (such as by location of the Business Affiliate), and directed giving choices (such as the Charity Affiliate). You may also provide and we may also gather Information about you from additional sources. We attempt to minimize the collection of Information unrelated to the Service.

We do not sell or otherwise share Information with third parties unrelated to the Service except to accomplish the purpose of the Service. After you complete a transaction with a Business Affiliate, we may share general and de-personalized Information, including demographic and summary Information regarding the transaction, with the Affiliates and third parties for business and charitable purposes and for making the Service better.  Please see Section 4 for a fuller description of How We Use Information. We have agreements with these parties concerning the sharing and transferring of Information obtained that are consistent with this Policy.

You have options with regard to the public display of certain personal Information – we recommend you review these privacy options in your settings and contact us if you have any questions.

We do not collect your sensitive payment Information such as credit card or bank account Information.

You may also provide personal Information, including PII, to the Affiliates directly and you should consult with the particular Affiliate to determine its information sharing and privacy policy.

  1. Information that We Gather and Collect

Member Provided Information. When you use the Service, you will provide and we will collect certain Information such as your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone numbers, demographic information and charitable designations. You also provide us with information when you register as a Member, use the Service, post content, interact with other Members, Affiliates or third parties, or link to or from other sites. For example, to effectuate the Member’s goals, we will need to know the purchase terms with a Business Affiliate so as to properly credit and direct the charitable giving portion of your purchase.

Site Activity Information. We gather information from the actions you take with the Service or on the Site including your interaction with Affiliates or other Members.

“Cookies”. We use “cookies” (small bits of Information stored on your computer, mobile phone or other device) to make the Service and Site easier to use, to protect you and us, and for other purposes to improve the Service. You can remove or block cookies using the settings on your browser. However, this may impact your ability to use the Service or Site.

Access Device and Browser Information. When you use the Service from your computer, mobile phone or other device, we may collect certain Information from that device such as your web browser, your IP address, device type and potentially the web pages or sites that you visit.

Information from Other Sources. The Service may contain features or links to and from web sites and services provided by third parties such as Facebook or Twitter. For instance, we may receive information from third parties, at your direction, that provide a mechanism to transmit information, including PII, which you provided to that third party. Any information you provide on third party sites or services is provided directly to that third party and is subject to that third party’s privacy and security policies, even if accessed through the Service. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of third party sites or services to which links or access are provided to or through the Service. We encourage you to learn about third parties’ privacy and security policies before providing them with PIT.

Location Information. We do not “track” your physical location.  However, the Service does collect and post Information concerning your purchases of goods and Services, the Charity Affiliates benefitted by those purchases and the donations they will receive as a result of those purchases, and geographical relationships between you, other Members, and Affiliates pertaining to those purchases and similar purchases by other Members. This location Information is treated like any other content within the Service.

Your Information is an integral part of the Service and our operations; it necessary to use the Information in a variety of ways.

We use Information that you provide or we collect to operate, manage, maintain, improve, enhance and provide all of the features of the Service.

We use Information that you provide or we collect to understand and analyze the usages, trends and preferences of our Members and Affiliates, to improve the Service and to create new features and functionality.

We may use your e-mail address or other Information for administrative purposes such as customer service, suggestions regarding your use of the Service or to alert you when changes are made to the Services, the Site Terms, or the Privacy Policy.

We use Information to monitor and address anomalous activity, spam, malware, security concerns, intellectual prope1ty infringement, right of privacy violations, defamation issues or other illegal or suspicious activity to protect the rights of you, us or others and for overall Service enjoyment.

We may use your Information to send you promotional messages related to the Service and the activities of Affiliates or third parties. You may have the ability to opt-out of receiving any such communications, either through links provided in the messages or by updating your account preferences through the Service.

  1. How and When Information is

We disclose your Information in a variety of circumstances in connection with providing and enhancing the Service.   4Me4We is about sharing and giving.

Any Information you voluntarily choose to include in a publicly accessible area of the Service will be available to anyone who has access to that content, including other Members. Similarly, you may voluntarily choose to share Information with other Members.

We work with third-party Service providers to provide website, application development, hosting, maintenance, analytical and other Services for us. To the extent it is necessari1y for these third party Service providers to complete their contractual obligations to us, these third parties may have access to or process your Information.  Generally, these disclosures are made under terms comparable to this Policy, and the recipients are limited to only using the Information for the purpose for which it was provided.

We aggregate and anonymize Information to assist our Affiliates in understanding Members’ demographics, interests, habits, and usage patterns to improve and promote the Service.

We may also disclose Information if required by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessarily to comply with state and federal laws, in response to a court order, judicial or other government subpoena or warrant, or to otherwise cooperate with law enforcement activity.

We may also share Information when we have a good faith belief it is necessarily to prevent fraud, abuse, imminent bodily harm or other illegal or unlawful activity. We may share Information to investigate and defend ourselves against claims or allegations. We may disclose Information to protect the security or integrity of the Service.

Our Commitment to Data Security. We use certain physical, managerial, administrative and technical safeguards that are designed to improve the integrity and security of the service and prevent the unauthorized disclosure of your Information such as secured servers behind firewalls, encryption and methodology, complicated passwords, and real time fraud analysis. We contractually require the Affiliates and third parties we share Information with to comply with all applicable data security and privacy laws, regulations and industry standards and further require they use Information in ways consistent with the Privacy Policy.

Security measures or practices are not, however, perfect or implementable. We cannot control the actions of other users with whom you share Information. We cannot ensure or warrant the security of any Information you transmit to us or store on the Service and you do so at your own risk. We also cannot guarantee that such Information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.

If we learn of a security systems breach, then we may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. We may post a notice through the Service if a security breach occurs. You may have a legal right to receive notice of a security breach in writing. If you learn of a security violation, please let us know immediately at security@4me4we.com .

Your Choices. You may, of course, decline to share certain Information with us, in which case we may not be able to provide you all the features and functionality of the Service. You may change, update, connect, or delete your profile Information and preferences at any time by accessing your account preferences page through the Site. Please note that while your changes are reflected promptly, we may retain all Information you submit for a variety of purposes, including backups and archiving, prevention of fraud and abuse, and analytics.

Our Commitment to Children’s Privacy. Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important to 4Me4We. For that reason, we do not knowingly allow children under 13 years of age to use the Service or knowingly collect or maintain Information from persons under 13 years of age, and no part of the Service is directed to persons under 13 years of age. If you are under 13 years of age, then please do not use or access the Service at any time or in any manner. If we learn that Information has been collected on the Service from persons under the age of 13 and without verifiable parental consent, then we will take the appropriate steps to delete this Information.   If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child under the age of 13 has obtained an account on the Service, then you may alert us at security@4me4we.com  and request that we delete that child’s Information from our systems as quickly as possible. We strongly recommend that minors 13 years of age or older ask their parents or guardians for permission to use the Service and prior to sending any Information about themselves. We strongly encourage parents and guardians to inform themselves about safe internet use and practices and discuss this with children under their care prior to any use of the internet and this Service.

Privacy Settings. Although we may allow you to adjust your privacy settings to limit access to Information, we cannot control the actions of other users with whom you may choose to share Information. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that Information you post on the Service will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. We are not responsible for circumvention by any third party of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Site.

Limitations on Removal of Information. You understand and acknowledge that, even after removal of Information from the Service or Site, copies of Information may remain viewable if shared, distributed, copied or stored by or with others.

The Service is Hosted in the United States. The Service is hosted in the United States. If you choose to use the Service from outside the United States, then please note you consent to having your Information transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States.

California Residents. California law permits California residents to request particular details about the Information a company shares with third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes.  4ME4WE does not share your Information with third parties (other than the Affiliates) for the third parties’ direct marketing to Members.    If you have any questions about our sharing practices or your rights, contact us security@4me4we.com .

Merger or Sale. In the event that all or a portion of 4Me4We, LLC or its assets are acquired by or merged with a third party entity, Information may be transferred to continue the operation of the Service and for other purposes.

Changes to the Privacy Policy. Please revisit this page periodically to stay aware of any changes to this Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy may be revised periodically at our sole discretion, as provided in the Site Terms. If we modify the Privacy Policy, we will make it available through the Service and Site, and indicate the date of the latest revision. In the event that the modifications materially alter your rights or obligations hereunder, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you of the change such as by e-mail alert or Site notification when you access the Service for the first time after such material changes are made. Our amended Privacy Policy will automatically take effect (30] days after it is made available through the Service. If you do not agree with any changes to the Privacy Policy, you may terminate your account and stop using the Service.  Your continued use of the Service after the revised Privacy Policy has become effective indicates that you have read, understood and agreed to the current version of the Privacy Policy.
